A Legacy of Impact
Karuri High School was founded in 1953 as a community-based institution focused on providing accessible education to the youth of Karuri and the larger Kiambu region. Over the decades,the school has transformed to a powerhouse of academic and co-curricular performance.
The school's motto, "Endeavour to Conquer", reflects our commitment to perseverance and excellence. This guiding principle has inspired generations of students to overcome challenges and achieve their dreams.
Throughout the decades, the school has remained committed to its founding principles while embracing modern educational practices, particularly in the integration of ICT and digital literacy as highlighted in our Strategic Plan 2024–2028.
Today, with a student population of over 1,627 learners and a dedicated staff of 85+ professionals, Karuri High School continues to build on its legacy, shaping future leaders and responsible citizens.
